Casey is a former teacher who fell in love with the wedding industry after her 2019 wedding. She designed and executed the vision of her wedding with the help of industry experts. She found her calling and wanted to continue bringing beautifully designed events to life. She started Rust & Relics to offer unique rentals, and in 2021, fully transformed the business into the full service planning and design team we have today! Watching weddings come together on the big day and the relationships she builds with her couples are just two of the many reasons she loves what she does. She’s a girl mom, an entrepreneur, a lover of all things spicy and most importantly- the back bone of our team.

Meet Casey,
After getting her start in the wedding industry in 2019, Kayla quickly discovered that she was born to be a wedding planner. She has now been a full-time planner for over two years and falls more and more in love with weddings each day.
You can always count on Kayla- whether it’s to opt for a kids meal, be your biggest advocate during planning and on the big day or be your buddy on the dance floor- she is your go-to girl!

Courtney was a 2023 Rust & Relics bride and absolutely loved the logistical side of planning her own wedding. She knew she could offer not only impeccable organization to the team but a keen eye for design- we already knew we loved her so it was a match made in heaven! Courtney is our Hill Country native, resident sweet-tea addict and full time foodie who knows how to make your wedding day feel like a breeze.

In 2019, Rust & Relics started as a passion project- providing rental decor and furniture pieces to madly in love couples. After moving to the Texas Hill Country in 2020, Casey’s love for the wedding industry led her to finding her calling…wedding planning. After almost 5 years and 100+ weddings under our belts, we are reminded daily why we love celebrating love.
